Is my loft suitable for conversion?
Good news – almost all lofts are suitable for conversion. Lofts with a minimum head height of 2.3m are usually seen as fit to convert, but chimneys, water tanks and the pitch of the roof can affect this. If your roof space if less than 2.3m, then don’t worry, there are options such as removing sections of the roof. However this is more complex and will require planning permission.
