A double storey side extension to a property in L18.
Our client contacted us with an enquiry for an extension. They had no plans drawn up or planning permission in place. After our initial meeting and survey, our architect drew up the proposed plans for the extension and obtained planning permission.
New Extension – retaining character of the existing property.
The whole look and feel of the new extension needed respect the original character and features of the existing house.
By having a double-storey extension, the client gained a huge amount of additional space. We were able to install a new open plan kitchen diner to the rear of the property, a new garage and a new bedroom over the garage. The new roof was designed as a new pitched/hip roof to tie in with the existing roof.
Managed project from start to completion.
We looked after the whole of the building project, including full installation of the kitchen, new glazing for the extension and bedroom, the garage conversion, new roof, all electrics, plumbing and heating.
Finally after the whole construction was completed, we gave the front elevation a full refurbishment, decorating all of the exterior.
